DAYS JAPAN – Photo Journalism Exhibition in Nagoya
An exceptional photo journalism exhibition which presents powerful and
moving imagery from around the world, depicting scenes of pain, tragedy, loss,
and desperation. The Nagoya exhibition is usually held annually at the Nagoya
International Center. The photographs on exhibit are renowned for their ability
to evoke feelings which leave the viewer asking some very sobering questions.
Due to the raw and graphic nature of the photographs, many such images rarely
reach the mainstream media – making this exhibit instrumental in the delivery
of significant photographic evidence. This year's exhibition features images
from Syria showing the civil war crisis; A building collapse disaster in
Bangladesh which killed 1130 workers; Nenets, the last nomads of Siberia;
Typhoon Haiyan disaster in the Philippines, and more.
When: Sat. 20 Sep. to Tue. 23 Sep. (10:00 - 20:00*) *closes at 17:00 on the last day.
